Therapy Approach

I am a compassionate, empathic, holistic counsellor focused on providing person-centered, collaborative, strength-based approaches to psychotherapy that are culturally aware. I utilise integrative and evidence-based practices, drawing from therapeutic modalities and theories such as CBT, ACT, Attachment Theory, Narrative Therapy, Transpersonal Therapy, Psychodynamic Interpersonal Therapy, Psychoeducation and Mindfulness practices. This humanistic approach enables safer explorations of life experiences and their meaning within the mind-body connection, allowing for deeper and more effective navigation of psychological distress in coping with the ongoing complexities of life.

Specialisations

I enjoy working with individuals from all intersections of life. Specialisations include working with BIPOC, LGBTIQA2s+, Gender Non-Binary, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD), Adoptees and Carers, and People with Disabilities.
