About Ché
I am a Korean-American migrant settler from the lands of the Chinookan people of Multnomah (Portland, Oregon, USA). Since 2007, I have been based on the unceded Wurundjeri lands in Naarm (Melbourne, Australia).
As an intercountry, transnational, transracial adoptee, a member of the LGBTIQ2s+ community, and my life experience within the disability community have provided me with unique understanding and perspectives. These experiences have heightened my awareness of the myriad challenges—or "layered limitations" as termed by Carmen Jackson, a proud Yuin and Biripi woman from (NSW, AUS) —faced by marginalised communities. I recognise the critical importance of decolonising therapy to ensure that every individual has access and is supported on their own unique path towards holistic healing.
I provide integrative psychotherapy either in person, Telehealth or phone.

I respectfully acknowledge the Wurundjeri and Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation as sovereign custodians of the lands and waters on which I work and live. I extend my respect to their Elders, past and present and to all First Nations people. I express gratitude for our shared connection through this place, to the oldest continuing cultures on earth. I acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded, and that a treaty was never signed.
